Your questions answered
Do I need a Stage V engine, or will an earlier standard do?
In the European Union, new machinery requires Stage V. For markets where it isn't mandatory,
or to repower existing equipment, we supply the Stage IIIA range and earlier, from 5 to
2,100 kW. Tell us where and how the engine will be used and we'll confirm the standard you need.
Do you configure the engine for my machine, or deliver it as standard?
We configure it. That is our strength: mechanical, thermal, electrical and software integration,
plus telematics solutions. The engine arrives adapted to your application, ready to install.
Do you have stock, or do I have to wait for production?
We keep more than 1,400 engines in stock, which cuts lead times compared with ordering from the factory.
Exact availability depends on the series and configuration, and we confirm it with your quote.
What warranty comes with a new Perkins engine?
Official Perkins warranty, extendable with Perkins Platinum Protection up to 10 years or 12,000 hours,
with no excess and covering parts and labour. Cover transfers to the new owner if you sell the engine.
Can I use it to repower older equipment?
Yes. We combine new and replacement engines with the earlier emissions range to give your machine
a new lease of life, with the integration needed to fit the existing equipment.
